lMC has established relationships
with over 20 private insurance providers
to facilitate medical claims in the
most convenient manner during your stay abroad. We assist with
all the necessary medical claim forms and send them directly
to your insurance provider. With direct-billing
to insurance providers, you are only responsible for the portion
of the invoice not covered by your policy.
On your first visit, please
bring your member card issued by your insurance company.
We will make a copy of the card and place it in your medical
file.
During
your appointment we will prepare the necessary claim forms for your
review. After you¡¯ve reviewed and signed the forms we will submit
them on your behalf.
Additionally, we request
that you complete a credit card authorization form to
guarantee your portion of the payment. ¡®Your¡¯ portion
of the payment is any portion of the invoice
your insurance company does not pay (e.g. deductibles,
co-pays, etc.)

With direct-billing, you don't
need to pay anything at the time of service. When the
insurance payment arrives, we will notify you in writing
of any uncovered balances and you will have the option
to remit payment to the Clinic. If you do not want to
make a special trip to the Clinic, you can instruct
us to charge your credit card on file.

research the possibility of dealing directly with your provider.
Please note, insurance and credit
card information is considered part of your medical information and
is kept strictly confidential. IMC will never release this
information or use it in an inappropriate manner.
